Meet our awesome team

Lucy Tysoe

Director of Go Tennis

As a junior she was a tennis fanatic, Lucy rediscovered the game years later and is now on a mission to get everyone playing. She runs Go Tennis, handling all the behind-the-scenes magic so you can just show up and play.

Loves: Big forehands, good coffee, and any excuse for new tennis gear.

Dislikes: Dodgy line calls and people who don’t love tennis (yet).

Rob Norris

Director of Tennis

LTA Level 4 Accredited Coach

Rob brings a wealth of experience to Go Tennis, having coached players of all ages and abilities – from complete beginners to advanced juniors – across clubs, schools and performance centres.

As a player, Rob competed nationally as a junior, was a key member of the county junior squad, and went on to represent the men’s county team – a level he still competes at today.

Rob’s coaching style is calm, supportive and confidence-building. Whether you're picking up a racket for the first time or chasing performance goals, Rob’s focus is on helping every player enjoy their time on court and unlock their potential.

Loves: Slice backhands, coaching in the sunshine, and seeing players have that ‘lightbulb moment’ on court.

Dislikes: Broken strings, soggy tennis balls, and when the sun’s in his toss.

Dan Lobb

LTA Level 3 Accredited Coach

Former tennis pro and TV presenter turned coach, Dan brings serious skills, expert coaching, and an uncomparible experience to Go Tennis—just don’t expect too much enthusiasm before his morning coffee. Whatever your level, he’ll have you hitting winners (and probably laughing) in no time… once he’s fully awake.

Loves: A perfectly timed drop shot and a strong espresso.

Dislikes: Double faults and alarm clocks.

Ollie Herit-Styles

LTA Level 1 - Coaching assistant

Ollie is our resident multitasker – balancing his studies, a passion for music, and coaching tennis with endless patience. A Level 1 coach, he’s a favourite with the kids on Saturdays, during holiday camps, and in our weekly sessions. Determined to level up to his LTA Level 2, Ollie’s on a mission to make tennis a part of his career—alongside music.

Loves: Tennis, music, and a perfectly executed drop shot.

Dislikes: The British weather, chemistry tests, and losing feeling in his fingers mid-session.

Noah Taylor

LTA Tennis Leader

Noah might be only 15, but you’d never guess it. A natural on court, he’s already a gifted player and coach, volunteering on Saturdays and working at our camps with a knack for keeping kids engaged (and actually listening!). We can’t wait to support him on his journey to getting his Level 1 when he turns 16. Watch this space—Noah’s just getting started!

Loves: Tennis, coaching, and being mistaken for an adult.

Dislikes: Waiting until 16 for his Level 1, kids who don’t pick up the balls, and double faults.

Jamie Lidbury

Coaching Assistant

Jamie is a new addition to the team. He is full of energy, enthusiasm, and a natural ability to connect with players of all ages. Currently completing his LTA Level 1 coaching qualification, Jamie brings great presence and positivity to every session, whether it’s a school programme, or a busy holiday camp.

Local to Grayshott, his mum also plays at the club, and he’s been around courts from a young age. When he’s not coaching or studying at college, Jamie also plays rugby and enjoys being part of the wider club community.

Loves: Coaching kids, rugby, hot chocolate.

Dislikes: Rainy Mondays, losing the rugby ball, and forgetting his water bottle.

Johnny Crompton

Pickleball Instructor

Johnny is our resident Pickleball Instructor with a real talent for helping players boost their skills and confidence on court. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to master your spin serve, Johnny’s approachable coaching style makes learning fun and effective. He’s available for ad hoc coaching at any venue, offering flexible support to fit around your schedule. When he’s not on the pickleball court, Johnny works as a teacher, bringing the same patience, clarity, and energy to the classroom as he does to his coaching sessions.

Loves: Precision dinks, sunny mornings on court, and a latte.

Dislikes: When someone says “What’s Pickleball?”

“She had such a great time at camp and cannot wait to do it again. Love for tennis back on!”
